You cannot get the same quality and service for a better price - Guaranteed!
We offer a like-for-like price matching service, even if the alternative quote is offered by a hobby business or business otherwise too small or short of work to be legally required to be VAT registered. A business that is not registered for VAT pays 20% more for all their paint, fuel, vehicle expenses, ongoing training and many other costs, and has to pass this extra cost on to their customers. We offer the reassurance of an established business that will be around to honour our warranties, while still guaranteeing unbeatable prices!
We will be delighted to match or beat any quote for the same degree of quality and service.
To take advantage of our price promise, your competing quote should:
- Be in writing
- Be for clearly identified repairs matching those you require to be repaired by ChipsAway Cambridge
- Be for the same repair service (for example, "same-day mobile service" or "bodyshop repair with free collection and return")
- Identify that the work will be carried out by repairer(s) holding industry accreditation or qualifications (for example, NVQ in Vehicle Body and Paint Operations, IMI qualification, manufacturer certification)
- Specify the refinish paint system to be used in repairs, which should be a good quality branded paint system, with colour-matching support tools available to the repairer (at a minimum a sprayed-paint variant shade deck)
- Confirm that for uncontrolled-environment repairs, paintwork will be finished with a two-component topcoat containing no isocyanates
- Offer an equivalent warranty (unlimited mileage, 2 years duration or for as long as you own the vehicle) and customer charter (OFT-approved)
- Be from a business regulated by a professional body (for example, VBRA, IMI and/or MVRA) and/or an established licensor who is so regulated
If your competing quote does not offer these elements, it does not offer a similar guarantee of quality and service to a ChipsAway Cambridge repair. We regret that we cannot price match repairs of inferior quality or service level.
If you present a competing quote to us that meets these criteria before booking your repair in for a ChipsAway Cambridge repair, we guarantee to match or beat the price offered on it. This price promise cannot be used with any discounts or promotions offered by either ChipsAway Cambridge or a competing repairer. For legal reasons we cannot accept quotes from other branches of the ChipsAway network for price matching. Price matching is only available on repairs carried out in-house by ChipsAway Cambridge, not repairs that require the use of a third party repairer or sub-contractor, or repairs we do not ordinarily offer.
We are very proud of our record of offering the best prices while never compromising on repair quality and service levels. In all our years of trading, no customer has ever found a similar quality service offered at a better price than that quoted by ChipsAway Cambridge.
