"Well thanks to [ChipsAway] Anatol, my car is looking like the incident never happened! Price for the main scratch was as he quoted on this thread, plus another £35+VAT for a nasty/beginning to rust stone chip on the rear left wheel arch. Total price £276 inc VAT! As compared with a quote of £600+£200 = £800 from BMW. To be fair to BMW, they were quoting to completely remove and respray the offending panels. However this was completely unnecessary in this case, and they didn't offer an alternative method of repair. A bit like saying, "Oh look I've spilled some red wine - best be buying a new carpet then!" If anyone in the Cambridge area has the need, I can give my highest recommendations to Anatol and his team!"

"...due to a momentary lapse of concentration I recently managed to make a rather large dent in a rear wing of my car, and scrape a large amount of paint off my rear bumper. I had resigned myself at one stage to having to get a new wing welded and painted which would have been rather expensive to say the least, and probably uneconomical given the value of my car. However, I spoke with [ChipsAway] Anatol who is a SMART repair chap... The result today was excellent - he got the entire dent out and the paintwork is now concours. His services are highly recommended and he was very reasonably priced too, considering the extent of damage caused by my stupidity. He also makes a nice cup of tea. So if anyone else needs a dent removed or a scratch patched up, I have no problems in recommending they drop Anatol an email..."
