Who's Who at ChipsAway Cambridge
Anatol Poyer-Sleeman MA(Cantab) FIMI
Anatol is co-owner of ChipsAway Cambridge and Managing Director. He works from our Express Bodyshop site. He has been full time in the vehicle bodywork repair industry since 2004, coming from the local constabulary where he was a police inspector. In 2009 he was elected Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry, the organisation for motor trade professionals.
Michelle Clark BA(Hons)
Michelle is co-owner of ChipsAway Cambridge and Technical Director. She works mobile and supervises all our mobile repairs and work for our motor trade accounts. Her first paint spray training was back in 1990, and she is certificated by DeVilbiss - one of the top-tier providers of spray equipment and training.
Grant Smith
Grant is our senior technician, and manages the workshop at our Express Bodyshop site. He came to ChipsAway Cambridge in December of 2007 from another ChipsAway business. He holds the advanced City & Guilds NVQ3 in Vehicle Body and Paint Operations, completed in partnership with Huntingdon Regional College.
Daniel Abrey
Daniel was recruited by ChipsAway Cambridge as a mobile technician in June of 2010. He joined us from the Cambridge bodyshop of the Marshall Motor Group, where he was a junior technician for just over two years. He holds the advanced City & Guilds NVQ3 in Vehicle Body and Paint Operations, completed in partnership with Huntingdon Regional College.
Vitalijs Abrickis
Vitalijs works at our Express Bodyshop site, where he does the majority of our panel repair work, as well as some refinishing. He served a traditional apprenticeship in his home country of Latvia and then worked for 6 years in traditional bodyshops both there and here in the UK before joining ChipsAway Cambridge in July of 2010.
Ricardo Byatt
Ricardo joined our technician team at the beginning of 2011, working at our Express Bodyshop site. He holds the IMI level 2 award in Vehicle Body Repair, and the IMI level 3 in Vehicle Refinishing, and is working towards the advanced NVQ3 in Vehicle Body & Paint Operations through an Apprenticeship, in partnership with Huntingdon Regional College.
